Chairman Buçoi mentioned that Europe needs to diversify supply to phase out to replace Russian gas and that they are planning to replace Russian imports with LNG Imports from the United States.

He then added that the European Union will need 10 million tons of internal production of hydrogen and 10 million tons of imports by 2030 according to their target. He also mentioned about solar energy they want to install 600 gigawatts in the European Union by 2030. Chairman Buçoi said that all these measures will require a significant investment, but it will be less if we look to the $100 billion that is being paid to Russia for imports each year.
