For most of my career, I worked at the intersection of intelligence, national security, financial crime, and technology.

Following 9/11, I joined the U.S. Treasury Department, where I helped advance the use of innovative policy and financial intelligence as a national security tool. Over the next decade, I served in a variety of leadership roles across the U.S. Government, including assignments with the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) and overseas as U.S. Treasury Attaché to Afghanistan and later the Arabian Gulf region.

Those experiences provided a front-row seat into how illicit actors, terrorist organizations, sanctions evaders, and transnational criminal networks move money, exploit systems, and adapt faster than traditional defenses.

That lesson ultimately led me to found Sigma360.

Today, Sigma360 helps financial institutions, fintechs, and global enterprises identify risk, investigate counterparties, and fight financial crime through a combination of proprietary intelligence, advanced screening technology, and AI-powered workflow automation. Our platform supports organizations responsible for more than $2 trillion in assets and value and has been recognized by Chartis Research as the leading provider of sanctions and adverse media screening.

I remain deeply interested in how emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, are transforming financial crime compliance, national security, and risk management. I regularly speak and write on these topics, including sanctions, illicit finance, cartels, corruption, geopolitical risk, and the future of intelligence-driven compliance.

The threats continue to evolve. The tools used to stop them must evolve even faster. We’re building them.
