During his presentation, Former Ambassador Sales pointed out that the energy sanctions need to be stepped up dramatically, he mentioned that energy exports account for 63 percent of Russian exports, that is why the west has been providing on average One Billion Dollars a day to Putin’s war machine. Ukraine is not going to win the war if the west spends more money on Russian oil and gas than it spends on military assistance, he added.
